What does RTP 93.3% mean in Casino Solitaire

RTP (Return to Player) of 93.3% means that, statistically over time, 93.3 cents are returned for every euro wagered. This figure is calculated assuming optimal play — the same strategy used by the in-game Auto Play function. Side bets carry lower RTPs: No Moves at 86.64% and Red or Black at 83.2%. That gap is significant: side bets carry a noticeably higher house edge than the main game.

Game layout and rules

How the layout is structured

Cards are dealt into 7 columns from left to right, with an increasing number of cards in each column (1 through 7). The final card in each column is face-up. The remaining cards form the play deck, which can only be turned through once. Four empty foundation stacks sit at the top of the board — one per suit — and are filled from Ace upward.

Goal and win condition

The goal is to move all 52 cards to the foundation stacks in ascending order by suit, from Ace to King. A payout is awarded for each card placed on the foundations — not only upon full completion. Partial progress earns a partial payout.

Card movement rules

• Cards can be moved between columns in descending order, following an alternating red-black colour pattern

• Aces are moved directly to the foundations; other cards are built up by suit in ascending order

• The play deck is turned one card at a time — only one pass through is allowed

• Double-clicking a card automatically makes the best available move

• Undo: one use per game

How bets are placed

Select your bet from the available levels on the bet screen: €0.52 / €1.04 / €2.08 / €3.12 / €4.16 / €5.20 / €10.40 / €20.80. Each level shows the payout per card placed. Side bets are placed separately.

How winnings are calculated

Main game payout per card placed on the foundation = bet ÷ 10.8.

All 52 cards on the foundations = top prize. Winnings accumulated during the game are not voided if the game cannot be completed.

Side bets in Casino Solitaire

Casino Solitaire offers two side bets, each independent from the main game bet.

No Moves

This side bet wins when no initial move is possible after the cards are dealt. Payout: 15× the side bet stake. Probability: 1 in 17. RTP: 86.64%.

Red or Black

This side bet wins when all cards at the start of the game — including the card on the play deck — are either entirely red or entirely black. Payout: 200× the side bet stake. Probability: 1 in 241. RTP: 83.2%.

Controls and interface

• Auto Play — plays the game automatically using the optimal strategy (the same strategy used to calculate the 93.3% RTP). Does not guarantee a full clear, but makes the best available move at each step

• Hint — highlights the next available move when one exists

• Undo — cancels the last move (one use per game). Does not apply to turning over column cards

• End Game — forfeits the current game and returns to the bet screen. Accumulated winnings are paid out

• Double-click on a card to automatically make the optimal available move

Demo mode

Casino Solitaire demo mode is available. The demo uses exactly the same rules, random number generator and maths as the real-money game — the only difference is that play money with no financial value is used.

Casino Solitaire vs other card games
